Invercargill is a city of distinctive character with elegant Victorian and Edwardian buildings, gardens and landscaped parks and generously wide main streets. The variety and number of heritage buildings in the city centre adds to it’s character with some very notable churches and historic landmarks such as the Railway Hotel and the Water tower.
